MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!!!!!

Mom and pop invited David and I to go up to Baltimore to see the patriots and ravens play monday night. We had SO much fun! I was hoping for the Ravens to win- I'm always for the underdog (except when it comes to VA TECH football of course) but the Patriots kept their undeafeated streak alive when they beat the Ravens 27-24. The game was so amazing! We had such a good time. Thanks mom and pop!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

One of my most favorite things to do growing up was going with the family to get the Christmas tree. I remember all of us getting in the van to go get the perfect tree. I remember running through the trees out of pure excitement as soon as we got there. Running around immediately turned into Taylor and I playing tag while the rest of the family was looking for the tree. Dad always did find the perfect one.... so tall and full. When we got home I was back in the house running around (again from pure excitement) while the boys brought the tree in. Mom already had the tin cans of ornaments and lights out and ready to hang on the tree. Thank you so much mom and dad for always taking us to go the tree... those are some of my favorite memories I'll never forget. Well David and I have been debating whether or not to get a Christmas tree since we are headed out west for Christmas in few weeks... but we finally decided to go ahead a get one. I am so glad we did! Last night we went to Dollar tree to get all of the decorations and Lowes to get some lights. Then we went to get the tree. We were having so much fun picking it out. After going back and forth between a few trees we finally made a decision. The man wrapped up the tree and helped David put in on the car. We had such a great time putting up the lights and decorations. After we finished we sat on the couch and watched "Elf".
Here are some pictures from our night...

Here we go...

So I gave into the temptation of starting a blog. I'll try to learn how to post pictures, videos and other cool things you can do on here so that our blog will be more exciting! Well it's been 6 months since David and I were married. We are here in Buena Vista just trying to stay warm in our little apartment. There isn't much to do around here so on the weekends we try to drive down to Roanoke to get some dinner and catch a flick. David is staying busy with school, basketball and work so during the week we usually snuggle up to a movie, play some cards or just talk about anything and everything. I love being married! I applied to Applebee's just the other day. I start my training soon. I've never been a waitress before but I'm excited to start and try something new.

I can't believe the holiday's are just around the corner! We are looking forward to going to aunt Diane's and uncle Steve's new house with the family for Thanksgiving. Don't forget to bring you're guitar Pop- I want you and uncle Steve to jam!!!! Afterwards we are going to mom and dad's house for the rest of the weekend. I love my family and can't wait to just hang out. Then it's time for Christmas! I've already been listening to Christmas music. I just so excited... I'm such a kid. We are heading out west for Christmas. I am looking forward to spending time with my new family and can't wait to eat some of my mother in law's oatmeal cookies ... hint hint Momma B ;) I'm also looking forward to playing some cards! This will be my first Christmas away from home but I have a wonderful new family to share it with!
